Your hair products

Some of the products that you are using on your hair may be wreaking havoc on your facial skin and triggering your acne breakouts. Most hair products contain sulphates, silicones, and heavy moisturising agents. These products can seep into the pores of your skin and make them be blocked. This will, therefore, lead to more acne on your face, chest, and back or along your hairline.

You are smoking

Smoking decreases the amount of oxygen that is supplied to your tissues. This means that the amount of oxygen supplied to your face reduces whenever you light up a cigarette. The carcinogens that are contained in the smoke will also trigger your acne breakouts as they will dry out your skin. Your skin will definitely respond by producing more oil hence causing acne.

Too much skin-scrubbing

When you have acne on your face, you may get so desperate to remove them that you may resort to scrubbing your face too hard. You may scrub it with a wash cloth or a cleaning brush in an attempt to make your skin appear smooth.
