Villa di Corlo, which gives its name to the estate, dates from the end of the 1600s and is located on approximately 100 hectares of land, one-fourth of which is cultivated for winegrowing. The Villa has been in the same family for nearly a century and is approximately 10 km South-West of the town of Modena.
The cellar has been built according to the rural characteristics of the area. It is equipped with installations , which have been approved in conformity with the law, as far as hygiene, saftety and environment are concerned. A rigorous respect for winemaking traditions avant-garde processing and vinification systems and exacting emphasis on quality are the strong points of the winery.
The grapevines in the Corleto and Palazzo vineyards are used for the production of Lambrusco Grasparossa of Castelvetro; they are flanked by the grape varieties used to produce Lambrusco Salamino, Trebbiano Modenese and Lambrusco di Sorbara in the "La Battistona" vineyard.
